- Proteins: Canned beans, nuts, and protein bars
- Grains and pasta: Rice, pasta, and pasta sauce
- Breakfast items: Cereal, oatmeal, and pancake mixes
- Shelf-stable options: Shelf-stable milk, juice boxes, and non-perishable snacks like crackers and cookies
- Condiments and spices: Individual packets of condiments, spices, cooking oil, and salt

How can you help?
Community members are encouraged to donate nonperishable food items to assist local families in need. The Food Bank will collect donated items daily from City collection sites.
Requested Items:
Please do not donate perishable items that require refrigeration, open or used items, medications, or expired items.
Where can I drop off nonperishable items?
Beginning Monday, November 3, food collection bins will be available at the following City of Merced locations:
Merced Civic Center

Fire Stations
Police Station – Central Station
611 W. 22nd Street, Merced, CA 95340
Hours: 8 AM – 4 PM
