Traffic Advisory - Wednesday, September 3, 2025

The City of Merced will be closing a portion of the north half of Yosemite Avenue to complete important infrastructure improvements as part of ongoing city upgrades.

Closure Details:

• Location: Yosemite Avenue at Mansionette Drive to Parsons Avenue
• Start Date: Wednesday, September 3, 2025
• Estimated Completion: This closure will be in place for approximately 2 weeks.
• Reason: Infrastructure improvements to reconstruct Yosemite Avenue.

What to Expect:

• Partial road closure on Yosemite Ave at the intersections of Paulson Road, Quail Ave, and White Dove Ave.
• Access to residences will be maintained throughout the project with periods of delays for construction from 7am to 5pm.

Please plan for delays, follow detour signage, allow extra travel time, and reduce your speed limit to 25 mph in construction zones and follow all traffic laws.

Access to businesses and residents will continue to remain open during construction.
